Call for Book Chapters: “Glocalised Identities: Rethinking the Local–Global Boundaries of Being and Becoming”
I am pleased to announce the start of a new project, tentatively titled “Glocalised Identities: Rethinking the Local–Global Boundaries of Being and Becoming”. This collection will explore how individuals experience, negotiate, and perform identity in contexts shaped by simultaneous global and local forces (glocalisation).
While it includes a dedicated strand on linguistic identity, the volume is intentionally interdisciplinary and does not solely focus on language. I welcome conceptual, empirical, and ethnographic contributions across diverse fields, including education, digital spaces, music, arts, migration, and others.
Full details, including themes, submission guidelines, and important dates, are available in the attached file.
I look forward to receiving your proposals by July 1st 2026. Follow the submission link here: https://forms.office.com/r/ivm4dB4xhr or scan a QR code in the attachment.
Please feel free to share this call with your colleagues and networks who might be interested.
